Genetic Manipulation in the Bible

If there is one subject that most Christians are unfamiliar with, it is genetic manipulation in the Bible.  This ignorance is why when we say the Covid Vaccines are "genetic therapy," no alarm is triggered.  Yet, the idea that there were two kinds of seeds or people groups runs strongly throughout the Bible. 

 

It is also important to note that most of this genetic manipulation happened in the "Days of Noah."  These were the superheroes of old or "mighty men of legend."  Of course, the most famous one was Goliath, whose brothers had six fingers and six toes.  The fact that these narratives have been lost in the church is surprising, especially when our society is obsessed with the supernatural.

 

Then comes trans-humanism, whose fundamental tenet is to re-make humanity into a new image by re-writing our DNA.  These fundamental changes are why trans-humanism has been called the world's most dangerous idea.  Essentially, transhumanism represents the end of the human race and the beginning of another race.  Transhumanism is not just the next step in our evolution; it turns us into gods. 

 

As it turns out, changing our DNA changes our bodies, which are the temple of the Holy Spirit.  Consequently, could genetic manipulation be another form of "Blaspheming the Holy Spirit."
